Data collaboration platform LiveRamp has added Meta to its Cross-Media Intelligence product, enabling advertisers to measure Meta campaigns alongside CTV, programmatic, audio and other media channels in a unified view.
According to a release, “marketers can unlock powerful insights by incorporating Meta campaign data into broader cross-media measurement workflows. Marketers can access de-duplicated attribution and incrementality measurement from Meta in the LiveRamp Clean Room, powering unified reporting based on first-party data.”

From tipsheet: Bringing Meta into LiveRamp’s neutral measurement environment is another step toward giving marketers a unified view of campaign performance across channels. With Publicis set to acquire LiveRamp, interoperable measurement, identity and clean rooms are becoming foundational infrastructure for AI-driven media planning and optimization. Publicis is certainly betting on that future.

ChatGPT ads gain performance measurement
OpenAI is bringing in-app measurement to ChatGPT Ads through mobile measurement partner (MMP) AppsFlyer, giving advertisers visibility into app installs, in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Adweek’s Trishla Ostwal reports that Grubhub and more than 40 brands across ecommerce, food delivery and ride-sharing have been testing the integration over the past four weeks.
On LinkedIn, Ostwal previews her story:
“Grubhub has been in the ChatGPT ads pilot since February, when OpenAI opened it to advertisers, but had only a ‘limited picture’ on metrics like conversions and attribution, and was ‘missing a huge chunk of what was happening before,’ VP of growth, paid media, Brian Ryu told Adweek.”

From tipsheet: We first reported OpenAI’s integrations with AppsFlyer and Adjust, now part of AppLovin, on July 27. Yesterday’s reporting provides the first public evidence of how advertisers are using them. OpenAI is also hiring around measurement, advertiser value and marketplace health. Together, those developments suggest the company is building the infrastructure performance marketers expect before committing larger advertising budgets.

AI moves from measurement to decisioning
Newton Research announced Unlimited Analytics, its new agentic AI product, with client Horizon Media.
AdExchanger’s Joanna Gerber reports:
“Data analysts generally spend about 80% of their time doing ‘what I think of as the precursor to the insightful piece,’ said John Hoctor, CEO and co-founder of Newton Research, like moving and combining data and checking its accuracy. When agents can help with that 80%, he added, analysts can spend more time focused on measurement, developing client relationships and the rest of their expertise.”
Horizon EVP of Analytics Kevin McGehee tells Gerber that his independent agency has been using the tool for about a year inside its intelligence marketing platform, Horizon Blu.

On LinkedIn, Newton Research says the product includes:
- “Causal modeling – a granular analytics layer to take your insights deeper.”
- “Next generation MMM – delivering results in days, during a campaign’s run time.”
- “Agentic media buying – to execute automatically with intelligence.”
- “Interoperability by design – no build out required.”

From tipsheet: The next step after measurement is decisioning. AI is helping marketers move from understanding what happened to deciding what to do next, faster.

Opinion: Private values versus pools
Chalice AI co-founder and CEO Adam Heimlich argues that AI is exposing a structural weakness in pooled media buying: enterprise advertisers value inventory differently than the platforms optimizing on their behalf.
He writes:
“The pooled stack optimizes a national number. A national advertiser’s value is local and uneven. The platforms are failing at an easy problem. They misprice location because their objective has no term for even the most basic thing a national advertiser knows about its business. It knows where it is weak.”
Read: The Two Architectures, Part 4: The Geography of Value (August 4) – Adam Heimlich on his personal blog
From tipsheet: Geography is simply the example, but not the thesis. The broader insight is that enterprise AI optimizes against a company’s private value function rather than a platform’s pooled objective. That’s another step from measurement toward enterprise decisioning.

Agentio scales creator media with AI
Generative engine optimization (GEO) practitioners, take note: creators are becoming part of your toolkit.
Fast Company examines how AI is changing creator advertising, highlighting Agentio‘s marketplace for buying creator sponsorships at scale. CEO Arthur Leopold says AI can compress creator campaign planning from months to minutes while helping brands deploy seven-figure budgets in hours.
Read: “The influencer bubble is finally popping” (August 4) – Fast Company
Sharing the article on LinkedIn, Leopold highlighted this observation:
-
“Brands now understand that they need to build the foundation to properly influence the way that people search in the future. If you look at the most cited sources for AI content, it’s usually a mix of YouTube and Reddit, depending on the platform. If a creator is talking about why they love a certain product or brand, that metadata, the YouTube transcript, the reviews, all becomes gold for an LLM.”

Last October, we covered Agentio’s approach to workflow automation. Read tipsheet.
From tipsheet: Creator media is becoming both an advertising channel and an AI optimization strategy. Automated buying lets brands purchase audience attention while creating trusted, machine-readable content that can shape AI recommendations.
